Thanks to our Sponsor, Tynga's Reviews!

First, let's find out HOW Stacking the Shelves works!

Hello everyone! It's that time of week again, that time to do an awesome "SHOW AND TELL" of the books I have been given, from authors, from publishers, I bought, borrowed, or received somehow, the library, a yard sale, or some way this past week! I LOVE showing books off like this! This is one of MY favorite posts to write!!
I also use THIS POST EACH WEEK to do somewhat of a wrap-up AND to post my NEW REVIEWS, NEW GIVEAWAYS, and whatever else I should bring to your attention!
After you are done reading HERE, click on the Sponsor's name up above and see THEIR post for Stacking the Shelves, too! They have a link-up with OVER 100-200 other blogs that also participate!
I'm also finding OTHER PLACES TO LINK UP TO AS WELL! I'm finding these places from other blogs, and they are GREAT ideas! The following NEW one is Talk of the Town where we can add ALL THINGS BOOKISH! Check it out! I still plan on joining in on other link-ups, too, I just haven't had the chance to do it all yet! I'll get there!!

The Vanishing Year by Kate Moretti (New Release 9-27-16 and on of my FAVORITE authors! She followed with Binds That Ties, While You Were Gone, and now this book, The Vanishing Year! Her writing is SO AMAZING, I never could understand HOW a large publisher didn't pick her up??? Well, now you'll see THIS PUBLISHER IS ATRIA!!! CONGRATULATIONS, KATE!!!! I KNEW IT!!! If you like psychological thrillers, then THIS AUTHOR, Kate Moretti, IS ONE
 YOU'LL LOVE! I PROMISE!!!)

Description:
Zoe Whittaker is living a charmed life. She is the beautiful young wife to handsome, charming Wall Street tycoon Henry Whittaker. She is a member of Manhattan’s social elite. She is on the board of one of the city’s most prestigious philanthropic organizations. She has a perfect Tribeca penthouse in the city and a gorgeous lake house in the country. The finest wine, the most up-to-date fashion, and the most luxurious vacations are all at her fingertips.

What no one knows is that five years ago, Zoe’s life was in danger. Back then, Zoe wasn’t Zoe at all. Now her secrets are coming back to haunt her. As the past and present collide, Zoe must decide who she can trust before she—whoever she is—vanishes completely.

The Vanishing Year combines the classic sophistication of Ruth Rendell and A.S.A. Harrison with the thoroughly modern flair of Jessica Knoll. Told from the point-of-view of a heroine who is as relatable as she is enigmatic, The Vanishing Year is an unforgettable new novel by a rising star of the genre.

A BOOK I BOUGHT FOR MYSELF:

The Memory Box by Eva Lesko Natiello

This book was suggested to me by Amazon after I was looking at books after I posted a review! This has been out since 2014, but the Description SURE CAUGHT MY EYE! I could not RESIST buying this one! This sounds like a MUST-READ!! Take a look!
Description:
What would you do if you Googled yourself and discovered something shocking?

In this gripping psychological thriller, a group of privileged suburban moms amuse themselves by Googling everyone in town, digging up dirt to fuel thorny gossip. Caroline Thompson, devoted mother of two, sticks to the moral high ground and attempts to avoid these women. She’s relieved to hear her name appears only three times, citing her philanthropy. Despite being grateful that she has nothing to hide, a delayed pang of insecurity prods Caroline to Google her maiden name—which none of the others know.

The hits cascade like a tsunami. Caroline’s terrified by what she reads. An obituary for her sister, JD? That’s absurd. With every click, the revelations grow more alarming. They can’t be right. She’d know. Caroline is hurled into a state of paranoia—upending her blissful family life—desperate to prove these allegations false before someone discovers they’re true.

The disturbing underpinnings of The Memory Box expose a story of deceit, misconceptions, and an obsession for control. With its twists, taut pacing, and psychological tenor, Natiello's page-turning suspense cautions: Be careful what you search for.

This is IT for this week! A slower week this time! I could use this this ONE time! A GREAT week to do some catching up!

    1. Hi Sofia!
Yes! I am dying to read them all! Right now I am working on Everyone Brave is Forgiven by Chris Cleave who wrote Little Bee. I have to take that one in little bites because it's about war, and I always KNEW and DO understand PTSD, but this BOOK can give you that! The book IS VERY descriptive about war, and so sad. Thankfully, the concentration camps are not in this one YET, I don't know and don't think they will be, but imagine THOSE, TOO? I can't! I don't know how ANYONE came home from WWII without MORE PTSD!!! I'm only reading about Allistaire is fighting in Malta and the air raids in London where Mary is an ambulance driver. Oh, my. Excellent writing, excellent book, but only in small doses. I give ANYONE a medal for READING the book! I can't wait to see what you are reading! I have to come visit this coming weekend of Saturday, June 25!
      Thanks for coming by!
