This week two previously published authors who started out as Independent Authors then went and self published, ended up getting published by a publisher, and they are now back again as an Independent Authors self publishing again! They have hit this list again this week! Congratulations to them!!!
I LOVE to see ANY and ALL authors who decide to publish self publish. They have so much more control over everything, from how and what they write, to their target release month, even the cover of their books. Don't let me fool you, though. All of these processes are hard and difficult, and there are many I left out, but in the end it really pays off for them.
Even published authors who never went Independently seem to be going this route now. They, as well, like this new freedom!
It's AMAZING how the doors to publishing have opened to everyone, even you and I! As the future comes along, we we will see a lot more Independent Authors taking over the publishing industry, and maybe it will be you or I!
