19. Defending Jacob: A Novel by William Landay
Watch for my review on "Defending Jacob" by William Landay! This is an OUTSTANDING book! Wow! This book will blow you away! The ENTIRE book will do this to you! Talk about a page-turner, THIS IS IT! I enjoyed this book IMMENSELY! So did my husband!
How would YOU feel if YOUR 14 year old son was charged with the murder of a fellow classmate all because one of our largest problems our teenagers are facing today of 'bullying'? How would you feel about this, especially if YOU were Andy Barber, the Assistant District Attorney, for more than the last 20 years? How would you feel if you were Jacob's mother? Your own SON?
This book is AMAZING!
This book was SUPERBLY written, and I am 'still' haunted by it!
Watch for my REVIEW coming up THIS WEEK on this OUTSTANDING book! One of my favorites I have ever read!
Consider purchasing this book for Mother's Day for your Mom this year! This book will surely haunt her forever!
These bestsellers were great! I love the Fifty Shades trilogy but would never buy it for my mom, it would be too weird lol
ReplyDeleteGoodies I Received This Week
Hi Janiera!
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting!
Actually, my Mom, if she were still with us, would probably love a book like this! LOL! I'm serious!!! HOWEVER, when it comes to my DAD - OH MY!!! NO WAY!!! He might pick it up being the first book has a photo of a man's chest with a tie on it, plus it is written by a 'male' author, one of my own father's demands when reading a book! THAT, would be a problem!! LOLOL!!!
He is a bugger!
He is SO hard to TRY to pick a book for! I have now resorted to Gift Cards for books for him! This is how DIFFICULT for ME to even 'chance' the risk of purchasing a book he is NOT interested in!
Back to Mom's! "Defending Jacob" by William Landay is GREAT for Mom!!! She would most likely LOVE it! You read what it is about in my little 'mini-review' of it in the article.
It is about a family whose son is accused of murder. The Dad, Andy Barber has been the Assistant District Attorney for over the last 20 years, and HAS to quit his job and start defending Jacob. Meanwhile, the Mom has to learn to deal with all of this, TOUGH! Their son is ONLY 14! That is the age of MY son! This was a SURE page-turner! I could NOT get enough of it! LOVED LOVED LOVED this book! It might be one YOUR Mom would LOVE! I SURELY did!
Thank you for writing a COMMENT!!! I LOVE comments! Hope you'll be back to write MORE!
Thanks for stopping by!
