Thank you ALL SO MUCH FOR COMING BY!! I hope you like the books!
I STILL stand my ground stating the publishers are CHARGING TOO MUCH FOR EBOOKS! I HOPE they see this and consider going BACK to the $9.99 prices, or even lower - the prices BEFORE ALL THOSE LAWSUITS WERE SETTLED WHEN THEY HAD TO BEHAVE AND COULD NOT PRICE GAUGE - at the time stating Amazon was taking over the pricing of the ebook. That IS what the publishers are doing now, in MY opinion, especially when asking for $14.99 per book! Come on! We consumers cannot afford to purchase an ebook at $14.99! Instead of purchasing 2 ebooks at $9.99, we are ONLY purchasing NONE (mostly from the people I have talked to) OR ONE BOOK ONLY (forget that 2nd book) at $14.99. Is this what you REALLY WANT?? I didn't think so! Publishers want to sell as MANY books as they can, print or ereader! I sure would!!
Tell me what makes ONE author's book one week a $12.99 book, and the very next week a DIFFERENT BOOK at a $14.99 price, SAME number of pages, same genre, etc., and caused them to incur court and attorney fees? WHY? WHY does the CONSUMER have to pay those prices?
I wonder if the publishers want to TRY to put AMAZON out of business with the ebook prices because they had claimed Amazon was setting ebook prices and Amazon was price gauging the publishers? (ie., the lawsuit)
I don't know??? I have ONE thing to say, and that is to the Publishers. People are NOT buying the ebooks, and we are NOT buying the paper copies, either! We are going without your books! - IS IT REALLY UP TO US, THE CONSUMER, TO HAVE TO KNOW THE "WHY" OF ALL OF THIS FIGHTING WITH THE RETAILERS OVER THE EBOOK PRICES WHEN ALLLLLLLL WE WANT IS TO DO IS READ THE "EBOOK" FORMAT???? NO!!! THERE IS NO EXCUSE! Do NOT punish US, the consumer, who ONLY wants to buy your books in the ebook format! PLEASE!!!
LET'S ALL GET ALONG, BE FAIR WITH THE PRICES, AND BE HAPPY!!! PLEASE!!! Thank you, publishers!
Publishers, we LOVE you and reading your ebooks, so PLEASE KEEP THEM AFFORDABLE for the average Joe. Thank you!!!
The rest of the books are:
HOLD ON, by Kristen Ashley (Kristen Ashley)
WILDEST DREAMS, by Robyn Carr (Mira)
GREY, by E. L. James (Vintage)
ARCHANGEL'S ENIGMA, by Nalini Singh (Jove)
THE NIGHTINGALE, by Kristin Hannah (St. Martin's)
