BOOK BLAST/BLOG TOUR/$25 AMAZON GC OR PAYAPAL GIVEAWAY! "Baked Alaska" by Josi S Kilpack

Tour Schedule

Baked Alaska by Josi S. Kilpack

An Alaskan cruise is the setting for amateur detective Sadie Hoffmillers latest adventure. Sadie plans to spend time relaxing with her two grown children, Breanna and Shawn, and her boyfriend, Pete, while enjoying the luxury and cuisine of an elegant cruise ship and helping to plan her daughters upcoming wedding. But even as the crew prepares to leave port, Sadie has suspicions about the voyage ahead and the relationship between her normally easygoing son and a mysterious female passenger he obviously knows but refuses to discuss. When the woman is discovered unconscious during the second night at sea, Sadies apprehension escalates. Over the last few years, Sadie has developed an extreme dislike for secrets and it would seem her son is keeping one from her. *Includes eight new mouthwatering recipes, tested and approved by the official bakers of Sadies Virtual Test Kitchen.

Praise for Baked Alaska

Josi Kilpack has done it again. You would think that all these events that occur in Sadie's life wouldn't be natural, but Josi Kilpack has a way of making you believe that it just "happens" and it is normal. I have grown to love Sadie's character, even if she is a busybody, you can't help but cheer for her as she attempts to solve a mystery or crime. One of my favorite series. :)

Author Josi S. Kilpack

Josi S. Kilpack grew up hating to read until she was thirteen and her mother handed her a copy of The Witch of Blackbird Pond. From that day forward, she read everything she could get her hands on and credits her writing “education” to the many novels she has “studied” since then. She began her first novel in 1998 and hasn’t stopped since. Her seventh novel, Sheep’s Clothing, won the 2007 Whitney Award for Mystery/Suspense, and Lemon Tart, her ninth novel, was a 2009 Whitney Award Finalist. Josi was the Best in State winner in literature for 2012 and currently has two books (Banana Split and Tres Leches Cupcakes) as finalists in the 2012 Whitney awards. Josi currently lives in Willard, Utah, with her family.

    1. Hi My Journey with Candida!
On Amazon, in the same line where you see the stars for the rating, it then tells you the number of Customer Reviews, right next to that it has a little White box Outlined in Black! Inside that it says LIKE! Click on it, and a box opens up where you can take your cursor and hover over it to click on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and email if you want to! It's easy! Once you notice it, you'll click it every time!
If you have ANY questions, just let me know!
Thanks for stopping by! You've left some GREAT comments! Thank you!!!

  3. I think it is not going to show up for me. Not sure why. I do see a facebook box on the right side but it is to share, not like and there is twitter and pinterest there too. Clear on the very right side towards the bottom. Hmmmmm Strange.

Maybe because Amazon is in my Hubs name and I am signed into my facebook name. I don't know what that would have to do with anything though.

    1. Hi Terry!
This showed up! It depends how you signed in. I always use Google. If you are not signed into Facebook but go to use Facebook, it will not allow you to leave a comment, you are right. It should not have anything to do with Amazon, as Amazon is not associated with this blog unless I associate it with a book or a link to a book or author.
For the Facebook LIKE, you CAN do that from this page. It's up at the TOP. Hard to see, I guess. That's the way the widget is made. Nothing I can do to change it. If you want to GO to my page, you can click on it and it will open in a new window, same as Pinterest, Google+, Goodreads, Twitter, all of them! It can be confusing until you get used to it.
Not all bloggers have other windows open separately, either. I always make them open in a separate window.
      Hope this helps!
Thanks for commenting! LOVE how much you do!
It may take me a few days, sometimes, to get back to you, but I do!
I do an 'official' review on this book on March 12th. Hope you'll stop back by!
      Always!

You said "Thanks for the share", and I say You are VERY WELCOME!
Today is my review date, and I am working on that now, it's almost 1:00am! LATE! Well, EARLY in the AM! My computer has been giving me issues!! UGH! It especially does NOT like my blog! LOL! It tends to freeze and I have to restart it! Go figure??? I must have a LOT on here! I do!
Hope you get a chance to come by later in the day to see the review! She's a GREAT writer! It's a book that I think anyone who likes a good, clean mystery will like! It takes place on a cruise ship, so it is FULL of recipes throughout the book! Mmmmm! I think I've gained a few pounds while on this trip! LOL!
Thanks for coming on by! Appreciate it!
    Come on back soon!
    Take care!
