Crazy Book Tours Presents:
"Flat Out Love" by Jessica Park
Cute Story!
Julie goes off to college for her freshman year and
finds she has NO housing! Now what is
she going to do? Luckily her Mom has a
nearby friend who she went to college with and was invited to stay with them
till she found a place of her own. It
ends up she stays with them the entire first year of college as she could find no housing
at all
Julie
starts to figure out she has moved into a very quirky and dysfunctional family that I
would not even begin to describe. You
need to read this really cute and funny story for yourself to believe it!
This book was very witty,
enjoyable, and at times, hard to figure the characters out. What in the heck is up with Flat-Finn? Then we meet “Finn is God” on Facebook, and a
romance begins to blossom.
Interesting! I LOVED how the
Author did this! I kept looking forward
to the live chats Julie had with “Finn
is God” on Facebook! This book was so
comical at times, I found myself laughing out loud sometimes! I really enjoyed this book!
This is a great book for a
anyone who would like a little comedy and romance mixed in their reading, with
a great and sometimes strange story behind it!

Author & Book Information:
Jessica Park is the author of FLAT-OUT LOVE, the young adult novel RELATIVELY FAMOUS, five Gourmet Girl mysteries (written as Jessica Conant-Park) and the e-shorts FACEBOOKING RICK SPRINGFIELD and WHAT THE KID SAYS (Parts 1 & 2). She grew up in the Boston area and then went to Macalester College in frigid St. Paul, Minnesota. During her freshman year, there was a blizzard on Halloween, and she decided that she was not cut out for such torture. So she moved back to the east coast where, she'd forgotten, it still snows. Oops. She now lives in New Hampshire with her husband, son, bananas dog named Fritzy, and two selfish cats. When not writing, she is probably on
Facebook , pining over 80s rock stars, or engaging in "Glee" activities. Or some combination of the three. Probably with a coffee in hand.

Hiya! I'm still catching up on tour posts and such, so sorry for being late. I've been a little overwhelmed with work and have had trouble keeping track of all these awesome reviews. Thank you SO much for participating in the blog tour and for taking the time to write such a totally sweet review. Very happy that I made you laugh out loud. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is one of those stories that takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride, there were several laugh out loud moments, but many serious ones as well. While I sort of guessed early on what the secret was it was still a bit of a shocker when it was actually revealed. Even though this book is geared toward young adults I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading family drama, and yes there is a romance but what kept me reading was the strong ,well developed characters and great plot.
