#REVIEW - Buzz Books Fall 2015/Winter 2016 Adult Version AND the Young Adult Version, too!

Description
The seventh edition of Buzz Books is a treasure-trove of substantial excerpts from dozens of the most highly-touted books to be published this fall/winter. Extensive publishing information, including promotion plans and publicity contacts, are included in this NetGalley version. At the end of most excerpts, you will find a link to the full galley on NetGalley!

Our “digital convention” features such major authors as Geraldine Brooks, Lauren Groff, Alice Hoffman, Janice Lee, Ron Rash, and Adriana Trigiani. We showcase debut novelists you’ve already heard of—Sloane Crosley, Jesse Eisenberg, and Amy Stewart—and anticipated new voices such as Virginia Baily (Early One Morning) and Claire Vaye Watkins (Gold, Fame, Citrus).

Our nonfiction selections range from Mary Karr’s The Art of Memoir to revelations on aging by Dick Van Dyke; new work from New York Times bestselling authors Jane McGonigal and Eric Weiner; and a memoir by Dan Marshall that will be featured at this year’s Book Expo America convention on the Editors Buzz panel: Home is Burning. Many of our Buzz Books authors also will be in attendance at BEA.

We’ve grouped titles into sections for fiction, debut fiction, and nonfiction titles. If these great samples aren’t enough to fill your fall reading lists, we start with an extensive report on the entire fall/winter publishing season, with over 100 notable forthcoming books in all that you will find covered and promoted in the months ahead.

MY TAKE:
5 STARS!
I LOVE these books! This book always gets a 5-Star rating from me because these are simply the BEST books to find out what is coming, and the BEST book to be able to request some of these books for review and to be able to plan out that time of years' reading!
These books have been coming out twice a year, and they give us an excellent look at a LOT of the new books that will be coming out in the timeframe that is on the cover, and for this book, it is for the Fall 2015/Winter 2016 NEW Releases. (The other version that comes out is in the early Spring and covers Spring/Summer books.) This is the Adult Version I am reviewing, but there is also the Young Adult version of this book that is also available for the many of you who prefer that version of this book. too! It is also available at NetGalley OR at Amazon! After you see the cover of the book, scroll down further to see the Description of the book, too!
This book was released on May 17th, just prior to the BEA, (Book Expo of America), occurs once each year, and is a gigantic gathering of publishers, authors, bloggers, and readers! In addition, they have seminars for everyone who attends, based upon what your title is, such as for authors, for bloggers, and so on. Plus, everyone brings their friends to these, too! The BEA is one of THE BEST and MOST SOUGHT AFTER book events that everyone wants to go to each year, myself included! (I can’t go, though, because I cannot travel and with the neurological muscle disease I have, I would never be able to travel there, and if it were possible, I would be out from exhaustion from the traveling and miss the entire event! Bummer! I would give my eye teeth to be able to go!) This book happens to talk about the BEA this year, in particular, the authors who will be attending!
Of course, this book covers the Fall 2015/Winter 2016 NEW releases that are coming! There are three parts to this, and those are Fiction, Debut Fiction and Non-Fiction. Each part also has in Introduction that is very worth reading because they talk about MORE books that are coming, so we really get an excellent all-around look at what’s coming and will be able to share this with our Readers!
There are 34 books with excerpts we are able to get a glimpse into, and most of them do allow us to request them for review! (There are some that are not available for review, just so you know.) The publishers are giving us the first, second and even third chapters of many of these books, and the BEST part is as long as you have an account at NetGalley you are able to request many if these titles directly from your ereaders, too! This part is the BEST part about the entire book! READERS - YOU, yes, “YOU” are able to grab this book for FREE from Amazon! You may or may not be able to have an account at NetGalley, but it’s SO worth reading this book! You will know and be able to keep track of which books appeal to you the MOST!
Bloggers, you can grab this book from NetGalley so you can be able to request the titles that are listed in it directly from NetGalley!
Enjoy!
I would like to thank Publishers Lunch and NetGalley for giving us the opportunity to read and review this book for them in exchange for our honest opinion in the form of a review! Thank you!

HERE IS THE YOUNG ADULT VERSION THAT IS ALSO AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW AT NETGALLEY (AND FREE FROM AMAZON, ALONG WITH THE DESCRIPTION!)

Description

This edition of Buzz Books: Young Adult provides substantial pre-publication excerpts from 20 forthcoming young adult and middle grade books. Now everyone can share the same access to the newest YA voices the publishing industry is broadcasting for the fall/winter season. Extensive publishing information, including promotion plans and publicity contacts, are included in this NetGalley version. At the end of most excerpts, you will find a link to the full galley on NetGalley!

Excerpts include new work from established leaders in the field (James Dashner, Jennifer Donnelly, Patrick Ness, and Lauren Oliver), authors best-known for their adult books (Eleanor Herman and Cammie McGovern), and newsmaking titles such as the highly graphic History of Glitter and Blood, Illuminae, and The Thing About Jellyfish.

You will find a full range of YA titles previewed here —dystopian, romance, fantasy, sci-fi, humor, literary and more — and you will find some works for tweens and middle-grade readers. As always, many are sure to make bestseller and “best of” lists.

Four of our titles will be featured at this year’s Book Expo America convention on their own YA or Middle Grade Editors Buzz panels: Everything Everything, Nightfall, This Raging Light, and The Thing About Jellyfish. Plus, half of our 20 Buzz Books: Young Adult authors will be in attendance at BEA.
