What am I reading now?  These books I will be showing the next few weeks are due to be released in September.
This book is in the Fiction genre, and the book is called "The Edge of Normal" by Carla Norton which releases on September 10th! It CAN be Pre-Ordered NOW in ebook OR Paperback by clicking on the name of the book, above in blue, or on the photo below via Amazon!

This author also wrote a Non-Fiction book co-authored with the victim of a case this book below is about and it is so good that the FBI has it on their "To Read List" for new recruits! WOW, huh!!! If that tells you anything about this author! She CAN write! This book is called Perfect Victim: The True Story of the Girl in the Box by Christine McGuire and Carls Norton - Available NOW, actually released on July 1st, 1989, and it's still selling strong. (I just bought the ebook format. HOW could I possibly pass it up? I couldn't!) In case you're wondering who the first author is, it's the VICTIM from this case Carla Norton has written about! Whoa, huh! You KNOW if the FBI likes it enough to put on their list, it MUST be GREAT!

Anyway, The Edge of Normal is AMAZING! For those of you who LOVE Suspense/Thrillers, you are going to LOVE THIS BOOK! Wow! It's about a Serial Killer who has had 2 victims escape, and they believe this perpetrator still has two more girls either alive, or dead, and unfortunately they are thinking the latter because it's been so long these girls have been missing. One victim who escaped, Reeve, escaped years ago, and through intense psychiatric therapy is now on that borderline of the 'edge of normal'. She is called in to help the new victim who escaped the hands of her abductor/monster/killer. This book reads like a CHARM! You feel as if you ARE Reeve, the main character/victim, and you can relate to Tilly, the girl who just escaped the same perp/abductor! Of course the suspense of knowing the bad guy IS still out there, even knowing every move these girls make, well . . . This is going to be a HOT seller! Add it to your TBR piles! I guarantee you are going to LOVE it!!! I think it's pretty amazing! I am at the 75% mark, which means I am intentionally waiting to pick it up later tonight so I can finish it in ONE sitting! It's at the BEST part right now, and the last 25% of a book is always the best. It really is one of those books you just CANNOT stop reading. The writing just flows so easily, and you WANT to keep reading more! I even propped my Kindle up at the counter while making a sandwich so I could keep on reading! I love the way this author writes! She writes and makes you feel like you are Reeve, the one victim hence the title. I see this author going far with her writing. I see more books coming out of this author, more fiction, like this book. I can't believe she hasn't written more, before? Well, perhaps that first book took a lot out of her, working with the victim and all. It also sounds like she could have been working with the FBI, too, so . . . it's great we have this book! We may as well refer to her as a Debut Fiction author! I sure hope she writes more because the talent IS there!

I did the review on the last book I told you about, (a little to early), but it is done on  "Necessary Lies" by Diane Chamberlain.

BRAVO TO +diane@dianechamberlain.com ! Wow! What an amazing writer! This book will release on September 3rd in both ebook and print formats. (Last week I said the ebook was available as of Aug 1st, but I was wrong.) What a WONDERFUL story! The main point in that story is still open and NEEDS YOUR ATTENTION! What a story! (clapping!) I was so wrapped up emotionally in this book that I BALLED MY EYES OUT! Just when I thought I was safe, it came again! I am NOT one to cry while reading a book. NO OTHER BOOK has touched me the way this book did, nor has ANY book EVER made me cry, period. If you would like to read my review, you can find it HERE!
