#NEW RELEASE #NEW #REVIEW "Never Let You Go" by Chevy Stevens

Description:
Eleven years ago, Lindsey Nash escaped into the night with her young daughter and left an abusive relationship. Her ex-husband was sent to jail and she started over with a new life. Now, Lindsey is older and wiser, with a teenage daughter who needs her more than ever. When her ex-husband is finally released, Lindsey believes she’s cut all ties. But she gets the sense that someone is watching her. Her new boyfriend is threatened. Her home is invaded, and her daughter is shadowed. Lindsey is convinced it’s her ex-husband, even though he claims he’s a different person. But can he really change? Is the one who wants her dead closer to home than she thought?

Chevy Stevens targets her readership with a novel that hits all the notes they come to expect from her—and ratchets up the stakes even more in a novel that explores the darkest heart of love and obsession.
My Take:
5 Stars!!!
Lyndsey marries Andrew, a wonderful husband, in the beginning. Their marriage was blissful, had a daughter, Sophie, but as time goes on, Andrew starts to become controlling, abusive, and does just horrible things to poor Lyndsey, and she is always having to play cover-up so her daughter, Sophie, doesn’t end up knowing or seeing what has happened because a child should NEVER be on the receiving end of things that one adult might do to another to cause spite or harm to another adult, so Lyndsey is always having to protect Sophie and not let her catch onto what has happened or is happening, and this isn’t just in the beginning of the book, but Lyndsey is always protecting her daughter, Sophie, all through this story, or so she thinks she is even as her daughter grows older.
As Lyndsey gets the nerve up to leave Andrew, as they are doing so he manages to do something that lands him in prison for the next decade. That works out well for Lyndsey and her daughter, but not so good when we find out that her daughter, Sophie, has been in contact and is staying in contact with her father while he was in prison and even after he gets out of prison. Sophie never confides this in her mother. Andrew knows where they live, but Lyndsey knows nothing about ANY of this! Things happen, Lyndsey starts to question the little things that happen, such as losing her keys, and then they pop up in a similar to the way that Andrew used to do to her. She really does think he is after her. There are a number of things that happen to make Lyndsey think Andrew is after her again. This book is constantly keeping us wondering who or what is going to happen next! There is also a HUGE twist to this story that occurs as if often the case with Chevy Stevens! I’m not one to give away the secrets of the book, so if you want to know more about this one, I’m leaving it to you to read and find out what happens, but if you love sitting on the edge of your seat, waiting in anticipation about what is going to happen next, and you can't turn the pages fast enough, then THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU! I highly recommend reading this NEW release! This author is brilliant the way she manages to keep our undivided attention on this story the entire time we are reading it, and our hearts pumping with adrenaline, wondering what’s going to happen next! I had a hard time putting this book down when I had to, as is always the case with this author!
This is another outright brilliant domestic psychological thriller that Chevy Stevens pulls off again! This is one author you can count on to give you the thrill ride of a lifetime from every book she writes! Enjoy!!
ALL thanks to St Martin’s Press for letting me read and write a review about this book!
