Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! I did, so much so, I tired myself out terribly! I wanted to cook my turkey 'my way' (it's been a few years) and I did, but I also insisted on cooking the side dishes, too, but those took me 6 HOURS! I bit off more than I could handle with this neuro-muscle disease I have. Seriously, I can't do that anymore, and I should have known better, even if it was only for the two of us. Doing that cost me participating in the Black Friday Hop, unfortunately, but, on a good note, my son and his girlfriend came over the next day! Sorry to say I kept falling asleep on them! They understood, and I learned I can't cook a meal like that again, or I must allow my husband do half or more of it! It was just a thing I needed to try to do 'on my own'! The food was good, but I fell asleep halfway through eating it! My husband kept trying to take my plate, and I yelled at him, "No! I'm not done yet!" LOL! Guess where the food ended up? Yep! All over my recliner! I told him it was a figment of his imagination! It cleaned up nicely and you would never know it was there!
