#StackingtheShelves #61 + blog updates and week's end for 12-10! #Giveaway to 12-15!

Thanks to our Sponsor, Tynga's Reviews!

How Stacking the Shelves works!

Hello everyone! It's that time of week again, that time to do an awesome "SHOW AND TELL" of the books I have been given, from authors, from publishers, I bought, borrowed, or received somehow, the library, a yard sale, or some way this past week! I LOVE showing books off like this! This is one of MY favorite posts to write!!
I also use THIS POST EACH WEEK to do somewhat of a wrap-up AND to post my NEW REVIEWS, NEW GIVEAWAYS, and whatever else I should bring to your attention!
After you are done reading HERE, click on the Sponsor's name up above and see THEIR post for Stacking the Shelves, too! They have a link-up with OVER 100-200 other blogs that also participate!
I'm also finding OTHER PLACES TO LINK UP TO AS WELL! I'm finding these places from other blogs, and they are GREAT ideas! The following NEW one is Talk of the Town where we can add ALL THINGS BOOKISH! Check it out!

I will also be linking this post AND my reviews to Saturday Situation (WHICH IS NOW HELD AT "PURE IMAGINATION" JUST CLICK ON THE NAME AND IT WILL TAKE YOU THERE) as well from now on, too! That is a place to link ALL THINGS BOOKISH! I'm anxious to start posting there!! Check it out, too!

Welcome everyone!
I feel bad this is SO late! My son moved in with us, and I'll take my son over anything!! I do feel VERY grateful! Even though he could be referred to as Pigpen from Charlie Brown's gang, I'll still take him! I love the kid! Kid? NO!! He's 19 now! A young adult already trying to make his way!! He and I tried to clean out the back room a bit for him, but with having to write this, I was stressing! I had to give this stress up to be able to help him, and we are still NOT done! We'll get there!
I hope you had a wonderful week!! I did! On Friday I went to the gym! I MADE IT!!! Yeah!!! Four MORE pounds OFF!!!! YES!!! I LOVE that scale!! LOL!!! You DO notice I ONLY love that scale ONLY when I DROP weight! LOL!!!!
I am STILL LOVINGGGGG TO SWIM!!! (This being the ONLY exercise I can do, it is EXACTLY what I want!!! I LOVEEEE this!!!) Seriously, even before Stiff Person Syndrome, I LOVED swimming! I STILL LOVE swimming! I love the feel of the water on my body, the way the water holds you so you can float, and what it feels like as you swim through the water! I love everything there is about it!
At the gym on Friday they did a Mannequin Challenge!! For those of you who do not know what that is, PLEASE go to YouTube and check it out!! My gym (the local YMCA) wants to TRY and get 1,000,000 hits!! I WILL be asking you to help us get the million hits AND TO "LIKE and SHARE" the video, PLEASE, once it's posted!!!!! I have NO DOUBT that next Sunday the video will be posted!! I JUST HOPE "I" was able to hold my pose long enough in the water!!! We won't know until AFTER they post the video!! Let's HOPE!!
One of the Lifeguards, Jeff, also approached me and suggested I do the 50 Mile Club!! He must be counting how many laps I do in a 1/2 hour! I've NEVER counted! Every 74 laps across the pool you make it equals one mile. I counted for about 20 minutes of swimming, and I swam 23 laps! NOT BAD! I'll take it! I AM going to do this Challenge! What a GREAT thing to achieve! 50 Miles of swimming, here I come!! I'm excited! Even a person with a disability like myself CAN do this! I LOVE it! Thanks, Jeff, our Lifeguard! He offered me this NEW Challenge! I'll keep you updated!

  1. Everything We Keep looks like a great read. I've been reading The Boy and the Dolphin by Dick Schmidt which is such a great read as well. There are some great books out there to read to slow down the chaos of the season.

    1. Yes! They all look great, don't they! Each one has it's own merit it stands on!! This year I have not allowed the season to sidetrack me with my reading much at all, except in October I did read a few Christmas books, which was a nice start to the season!! I enjoyed that!! I have not read any Christmas books this December, though!! I'm not into Christmas this year, though! I did NOT put a tree up, even! LOL!!!!! I LOVE that I don't have to take it down! LOL!!!
Have a great one and so nice to see you here!!
