Have you ever read a book and as you are going along you stop, think to yourself I don't understand this?
This has happened to me many a times. I don't understand WHERE the author is coming from or WHERE they are going. If, within the next few chapters I still don't get an idea of where this story is going, I ditch it. Why go on if I don't have a clue as to what the author is trying to get across? There is no reason.
This can occur for a variety of reasons. The author may . . .

    Laurie, didn't realize you were doing the challenge too.

    Definitely not a good thing when you don't know where the book is leading after the first few pages.

    Hi Joy!
    SO glad you came by! I am guessing you are doing this A to Z Challenge also?! Yes! I thought I would try it out! Give my hand a chance at some writing, and it is coming out too quickly! It is just flowing! I guess maybe if you are a good talker, and talk a LOT, you can write? I talk a LOT! My writing has just been 'a flowing'! No problem at all, yet I have something I LOVE to write about! Books! This has been my subject throughout the Challenge, What is yours> Or are you writing something different every day?
    I WILL join this again, in a heartbeat! I have really en'joy'ed it!

    Now, on to my letter! I'm late tonight! It's already 8:30pm and I have to do the dishes first! Eeeeks!
