MY TAKE:
5 STARS!!!!!

I LOVE these Helen Grace books! This is Book 3 of the Helen Grace series, and there is so much action, you really can’t stop turning the pages of these books! Believe me, you are flying through these books rampantly reading because of the way this author writes, yes, she writes THAT GREAT! Before you know it, ALL of her stories have had me wrapped up inside of them unable to do ANYTHING ELSE!

If you are looking for a book to get completely lost in, and like psychological thrillers like this one is, then these are definitely books you can do that with! Go ahead, tune out life completely, otherwise the book is going to do that for you anyway! The same thing has happened with all her books I have read so far!

I like this, though, I really do! So far I have gotten the wonderfully amazing opportunity to get to  review all of this author’s novels so far, and this Inspector Helen Grace is a kick-butt police woman who has every bit of confidence she could possibly want or need to get the bad guy! She has a few demons of her own that push her to go after killers and catch them, these egg her on. Nothing scares her, and there is nothing that is going to hold her back from meeting whatever she must head-on. Those demons of hers are what drives her. I believe that is what attracts me to this series of books so much is her confidence and strength!

If you like psychological thrillers, this one is SURELY to keep you awake at night, have you miss some meals, and some housework, too. (Bummer . . .  NOT!!!) These books are NOT for the light at heart, either, in case you are extra sensitive and can’t tolerate books like these. They can be extremely graphic, and this one is just like the other two. I’m just letting you know so you are not turned off. I have the stomach of iron, so those things don’t bother me.

I’m not going to go too much more into explaining what happens in this book other than the description and how this book read because many other people have written fully detailed reviews, and I don’t want my review giving you the last bit of info to be able to solve the crime before you even start reading it, or to be able to solve this in the very beginning. One last thing to say about this book is this was not this author’s strongest book. I think she had too much going on in this one and it detracted from the story. I’ve noticed other people have said something similar to this as well. Also, this is not a good book to go into and start reading this series, and I have to agree with the other reviewers who say this, too. Pick up her first or second book first, and those will give you the background you need to know what I’m talking about with her demons and more.

One last thing. Set some time aside! You’re going to become addicted to this book! I wish I could look and see if you had your shoes on when you started reading this book and if they stayed on or if you kicked them off? There was no way I could keep mine on! I think I was running in my chair without even realizing it! LOL!

Get ready for later this summer with Liar, Liar! These books are always behind for us because this author is from the UK and his books are published there first. Just a little FYI in case you did not know this is any book published in another country will always be published there first before here. This is how we end up with so many different covers at times! This cover is kind of spooky, huh! Love it!
