The New York Times Top 15 (25) Best Sellers for the week ending Sunday, Deceber 1, 2013

Welcome! To another week of the best of the best!
I hope you all are enjoying your Thanksgiving weekend! Hope you hit LOTS of sales and are HAPPY!

One thing I want to share with you is an Amazon Black Friday deal - the LARGE Kindle DEAL! Click on this link here: Kindle DX, Free 3G, 9.7" E Ink Display, 3G Works Globally for ONLY $169! Wow! What an AMAZING price!
If I needed a new Kindle, that's the one I would get! Why? It is LARGE! Compared to my screen of only about 6.7", had I known this would be on sale, I would have saved up for this one! Scroll down that page and look at a page from a book! Wow! And to think my screen comes in at 6.7" - whoa! What a difference! 'Yes, my screen is small and I admit I do get tired of constantly 'turning the page' button. If you are a fast reader, there are not many words on a page, so you are constantly turning the page, which is why I get tired of it. I guess, in a way, I have adjusted to it, but that large page, I sure am envious! The Pearl Ink - I LOVE IT!  I've seen the Paperwhite, but, it's just like reading on the computer, in my opinion. After reading on the computer for so long, my eyes get tired, blurry, and I can't see well. I have even turned the brightness down on this computer, and still, give me that Pearl Ink, and I'm happy!

And don't miss the Black Friday Deals in Books - 2013
I'm SO excited! Enjoy them!

Now we are entering the holidays! Many of you may be trimming the tree and decorating your houses! Such fun! It always looks SO beautiful a this time of the year! Take some time for yourself to enjoy some reading, or whatever it is you like to do today!

One more thing before we get to the books! The Debut Author Giveaway Hop for authors who have printed a book in 2013 is coming up on December 4th to December 11th, 2013! It's coming up in a few days! Be SURE to come on by and enter! I have a GREAT book you'll just DIE for!

For those of you reading this Saturday night, get in on the last few hours of the Gratitude Giveaway Hop! Going on NOW until MIDNIGHT, tonight, November 30th!

The New York Times Top 15 (25) Best Sellers for the week ending November 24th, 2013

Welcome! It's time for the weekly Best Seller list again! (Posted by NOON every Sunday)! I am waking up to a CHILLY morning! Wow! 13 degrees! COLD!!! Brrrr! How about you?

So what have you been reading this week? Leave it in the COMMENTS! We ALL would LOVE to hear! Not many people EVER leave a Comment, so I'd LOVE to get the Comments going! YOU could be the FIRST to do so! Come on! Click on COMMENTS and getit started!

I finished "The Rosie Project" by Graeme Simsion, which took me a grudging 1-1/2 to almost 2 weeks to read as it was SO boring, IMO. I wrote the review, and am ready to post it, but it's less than flattering. I hate to start off so negatively, but it took forever for me to read the book because that's how much I disliked it. I guess I'll just have to post the review later tonight so it goes live at 9:00pm. Maybe I'll tweak it a bit so it's not SO negative? But it was, and I cannot lie. Ugh! As I was reading it, I kept thinking of other books I read and it didn't compare in the LEAST to ANY other book I've read, and I CRAVED a different book!
Good news! I 'have' started a NEW book and am halfway into it already! YEAH! This one is SO MUCH better! In fact it's EXCELLENT! It is "The Fault in Our Stars" by John Green. Now THIS is a BOOK! Wow! I'm loving it! I picked this one up on my own after eyeing it for a while. I couldn't resist!

Well, I won't see you with this article until after next Thursday, and we all know what 'this' Thursday is, so I want to wish you, your significant other, your family and friends, a very special HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Enjoy your day, however you spend it!
I know we'll be spending it at home, but I don't know if our kids are coming or not? I never know until the very last minute, as is often the case with young adults! How do we cook then? We cook enough for everyone, so 'if' they come, it's here. If not, then we have leftovers for a few days. (I LOVE turkey leftovers!) My daughter is 20 and just kind of goes with life, and my son is 16, and does the same. Really, I think my son tries to figure out where he'll have the most fun at! LOL! (Don't you remember doing that? It was FUN!) We are kind of quiet here, so he thinks things can be boring here! LOL! I've already checked out the TV listings, and there is not much on besides Football, and we are NOT fans of it at ALL. We are all caught up on our 'to-watch' DVR list, so I guess "I" will be watching Netflix or DishAnywhere.com right HERE on the computer! My husband is NOT into movies. That stinks, I know. I can really only watch about two in a row at the most before I start to get bored, too! Then I want to pick up my books, whatever I am reading, or the computer!

CLICK HERE for Amazon's Black Friday Deals Week - some GREAT deals! Also, they have Black Friday Deals Week in Books!
Look in the LEFT SIDE COLUMN AT THE TOP! I have listed a LOT of links to take you to 'some' of the Black Friday deals! From there, you can access others!

Can you tell I don't go OUT to shop?! LOL! I LOVE AMAZON!!! Can you tell I've been SCOPING AMAZON OUT?! Yes, I have been!

Cyber Monday Deals WEEK! Don't miss these, either!

*TEMPORARILY FREE* #ebook I HIGHLY suggest AND IT'S FREE! I don't know for how long??? So grab it today! Click on this link in blue: Sisters in Love (Love in Bloom: Snow Sisters #1), Contemporary Romance by Melissa Foster - FREE Book ONE of the 4-book series of The Snow Sisters Melissa Foster is an AMAZING author! I'm not just saying that, either. You can go into my Archive Tab and look up the following books (these links take you to Amazon where you can purchase them) - Megan's Way, Chasing Amanda, Come Back to Me, Have No Shame, and now The Snow Sisters! Here's Book 1 of 4!

Kindle Fire HDX 7", HDX Display, Wi-Fi, 16 GB - Includes Special Offers AND SEE THE TV COMMERCIALS, TOO! $229! Not bad! When the TV commercials are over (they are short) just click outside the video box to go back to the page!

If you are ONLY interested in a Kindle for reading, this is what I would suggest, and I'll tell you why after the link: Kindle DX, Free 3G, 9.7" E Ink Display, 3G Works Globally. I LOVE to read on my Kindle, but, I feel like I am FOREVER hitting the 'turn the page' button. This, is HUGE! It has a LOT more words per page than any other Kindle! My 'next' Kindle will be this one by FAR! Plus, with 3G access, if you go to the park, to the beach, if you go ANYWHERE, you can SHOP in the Kindle store! Especially GREAT when you are somewhere and you want a NEW book! It's at your fingertips! OR, the Special Offers, when you see one you LOVE, you can buy it right from your Kindle! I would be in HEAVEN with THIS Kindle!!! I really do not prefer the Paperwhite. Why? It's like reading on the BRIGHT WHITE COMPUTER! My eyes get tired! Especially since I have 2 sets of double vision! Yes, I do! After I've been on the computer reading or a while, I NEED to allow my eyes to rest, and THIS KINDLE is the PERFECT way to do it! Good luck in with your choice!

Okay, THANKS for putting up with me on ALL of the GREAT GOODIES I found!

The New York Times Top 15 (25) Best Sellers for the week ending November 16th, 2013

Here we are again! Another week has gone by and another Best Seller list is upon us! I post this column for EVERY Sunday by NOON! Sometimes earlier!
Last week I said I had reviews to post, but it turned out to be a week of Giveaways! Don't miss that button in the Upper Left Column! The Gratitude Giveaway Hop! Enter till the 30th! I think you'll like what I have to give away!
This week I've been reading and this is the link to grab it by clicking on this title here: The Rosie Project: A Novel by Graeme Simsion
(I think the authors name even sounds nerdy! It really fits with the book! LOL!) Yes, this book is about a Professor of Genetics who is such a huge NERD I cannot begin to explain HOW BIG! He has decided it's time he find a wife. He has a 16 page questionnaire for possible 'prospective wives' to fill out, then he goes through them and decides upon these women just by they way they have answered in this 'book' of questions! I almost did not finish reading this book after the first chapter because this guy is SUCH A NERD! He has so many hang-ups, I didn't know if I could read an entire book of them! What saved this book was he went to dinner the next evening at his friends home, and they kind of brought him down to earth a little by going over it and suggesting he change some of the questions in it, and toss some of them. He did. Thank gosh, because that saved the book for me! I'm only about 1/3 of the way into it, but it's pretty good. It is hard to get over some of the nerdy parts, but right now it's picking up and he has met Rosie and has had her over for dinner, and let me tell you she FAILED a LOT of the questions! Come to find out Rosie is looking for her biological father, and this is really right up his alley, so they take on the 'Father Project'. Little does he know 'I think' he's going to fall in love with this woman, despite what he 'thinks' love should be based on, which is science! It's pretty good. I keep getting interrupted while reading it this week, so I need to grab a block of time to dedicate to finishing it.
    Anyway, it's #46 on Amazon's Best Books of 2013!

If you would like to see Amazon's Best Books of 2013, WHILE THERE, ENTER TO WIN A KINDLE PAPERWHITE! You can click this link below to enter, but don't forget to come back!
