New York Times Top 15 Best Seller List for the week ending September 9th, 2012

Welcome! It's Sunday again, and time to find out what books are the TOP 15 on the New York Times Best Seller List!

If YOU are reading ANY of these books, please leave a comment below and let us know what you are reading, a little of what it's about (if you want) and how you are enjoying it!

Right now I am reading "Spring Fever" by Mary Kay Andrews and LOVING it! It's about a family who owns a large soft drink company, and an intruder who has finagled her way in and has gotten her claws into the owner of the company. Meanwhile, his ex-wife has learned of the plans this intruder has for the company, and she is on the rampage to stop it! Quite a GREAT read! I'm thoroughly enjoying it!
This is a nice Beach Read, and the last of my Beach Reads as the summer is winding down. Boo-hoo! I always hate to see summer ending. This book can last WELL BEYOND the beach days of Summer, though. The storyline has a lot of substance to it, and I really hate to call it a 'beach read'. I LOVE Mary Kay Andrews writing, and every summer when she has a new release, I GRAB IT!

  1. I am reading "Spring Fever" by Mary Kay Andrews! I am just about done, at 90%!
This book is about a family empire, started by the characters' father who founded a red-pop soft drink company called Quixie! He passed away about 5 years prior to the beginning of this story. We meet Annajane, divorced from Mason, yet she may still be in love with him yet he is getting married to Celia who finagled her way into his business then personal life with an ulterior motive. Mason has a little five year old daughter, (hmm? she is as old as his divorce from Annajane is?). There is one other brother of Mason's and an 'always pregnant' sister. The company needs to make some changes to keep up with the times, but before they can do what they need to do they must attend a special 2nd part of their father's will. The first will specified the company cannot be sold, nor have any major changes done to it until five years after his death when the second part of his will will be read. We follow these characters through all sorts of predicaments and life, in general.
I have to say I have NEVER laughed out loud so hard at times from a book than I have from this one! My favorite character in this book MUST be "Harry Dix", (which tells us this book is definitely Adult Contemporary Fiction!) This is one of the things I LOVE about this Author! She really knows how to write and knows how to use humor in her stories!
This is a GREAT story and I'm LOVING it!
    What are YOU reading?
