Hello, everyone! Hope you had a GREAT week! 
Well, I took most of July off for vacation from my blog so I could enjoy some other things, and I did! I ONLY posted what I HAD to post, so I enjoyed my time. 
I JUST had my "2-year Blogoversary" on August 10th! Wow! 2 years! Wow! the day came and went, and I didn't even realize it till today! After July was over, the Olympics started! I "LOVE" to watch the Olympics! Do you? Oh, I had a BALL! It was GREAT to see Michael Phelps win MORE Gold and 1 silver medal, and go on to become the MOST DECORATED ATHLETE since the early 1900's! Honestly, I don't think ANYONE can EVER surpass him! 
That is one thing that 'some' sports don't allow for. Some sports ONLY have a few possibilities to win maybe 2-3 medals, unlike swimming. I am VERY HAPPY for Michael Phelps, but is it FAIR for HIM because HIS SPORT has SO MANY opportunities to win medals for HIM to be called the GREATEST OLYMPIAN? I got to thinking about that because I LOVE Gymnastics, Beach Volleyball, and SO many MORE sports! MANY of those sports ONLY have 2,3 or maybe 4 possibilities to win medals in, so is this really FAIR to these other Athletes that THEY CANNOT EVER OBTAIN THIS TITLE? 
I can't play sports myself, but I DO enjoy the Olympics! I LOVE to see how HAPPY the athletes get when they win and ALL the hard work pays off! Even for the people who did NOT win a medal, HEY! They MADE IT 'TO' THE OLYMPICS! That, ALONE, makes them a WINNER IN MY BOOK! CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE ATHLETES WHO COMPETED IN THE OLYMPICS WHETHER OR NOT THEY WON A MEDAL! You ALL deserve a HUGE HOORAY from us! So, HOORAY!!!! You ARE a winner!!!

I am SO happy about this! I noticed today that SOME of the New Releases in EBOOK FORMAT - THE PRICES STAYED AT $12.99 - FOR NOW!  Again, I am HOPING to continue to see the ebooks prices steady out. HOPING. I cannot foresee the future of ebook prices, BUT . . . I am VERY happy to see what I saw today! I AM HOPING THE PUBLISHERS ARE REALIZING THEY CANNOT CONTINUE TO KEEP INCREASING THE COST OF EBOOKS AND EXPECT CONSUMERS TO CONTINUE TO PURCHASE THEM.
I DID notice one thing. Colleen Hoover's books, "Slammed" and "Point of Retreat" have been purchase by Simon and Schuster!!!! YEAH, COLLEEN!!!! However, the Publisher RAISED THE PRICES OF THE PAPERBACK AND ESPECIALLY THE EBOOK! The ebook went UP by $4.00! 
This is what my contention has been ALL ALONG! JUST BECAUSE they CAN raise the prices does NOT MEAN THEY 'SHOULD'. The got the opportunity, so they took it. Point made. 
I ask ALL of you to PLEASE WRITE TO THE PUBLISHERS AND TELL THEM WHAT "YOU" THINK OF EBOOK PRICES, ESPECIALLY FOR THE 'FALL NEW RELEASES'! I've informed you all about the INCREASE IN EBOOK PRICES FOR THESE 'FALL' NEW RELEASES that are planned, so it is up to  YOU, TOO, TO DETERMINE WHAT 'YOU' ARE WILLING TO PAY FOR AN EBOOK, TOO.
Again, today I was VERY happy, but I am NOT holding my breath for when it comes time for the FALL New Releases. 
Exactly what are YOU willing to pay for ebooks? Think about this, PLEASE! It IS up to US to decide! If we sit here and DON'T DO A THING, they WILL continue to rise. I DO ask you to PLEASE CONSIDER THIS TOPIC. IT AFFECTS "YOU"!
I ask ALL of you who are reading this, PLEASE write to the Publishers and TELL THEM what is on YOUR MIND AND WHAT YOU ARE AND ARE 'NOT' WILLING TO PAY FOR EBOOKS. 
WE, the CONSUMER, "DO" HAVE A SAY-SO! If WE STOP purchasing them if the prices CONTINUOUSLY RISE, they WILL start to NOTICE! Especially if they receive letters from US, the CONSUMERS! So I ask you to PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND!
This is all I will say about this topic today, but keep it in mind!

(This book is a special edition, in case you were wondering why the Print book is SO expensive. This PRINT BOOK IS A PRE-RELEASE ONLY, due to be released on August 21st, 2012. However, the KINDLE VERSION "IS AVAILABLE 'NOW' FOR PURCHASE", at the $12.99 price, as is the "Large Print Edition" at $17.50, and the Audible book at two different prices of $17.99 and $23.95, so 'this edition'  is not even out in print YET! The reviews are also based upon 'other editions' of this book as well. Currently there are 73 reviews on this book, which I highly encourage you to read. The reviews are very mixed.

This is one of my FAVORITE BOOKS OF 2012! One of my SECOND favorite books this year is her 2nd novel, which you should grab if you are going to read this first book is called Point of Retreat: A Novel! Oh, MY! Excellent series! You ARE going to want to read Book 2 IMMEDIATELY AFTER you turn the last page in Book 1! Wow! Amazing story! It has now been picked up by the publisher Simon and Schuster! You can watch for my review on BOTH of these books coming up later this week! I can give you a two word summary for now! "Butterflying Amazing!"
