Theme: Books and Blogging
Subject: Letter "O"
Topic:  Original

It fascinates me how every book I pick up is an original story. Every book differs and has it's own story that has never been written before. How does this happen that no other book repeats another? Out of the millions and millions of books that have been written, no two are alike in any way. I wonder this every book I pick up! Authors are SO ORIGINAL! Their minds must always be going with ideas for stories in their heads. I can only imagine. On second thought, I cannot imagine how many stories are going through their heads! It outright amazes me! Even the authors styles of writing all . . .

  1. They say everything's been done before. Every song has already be written, every story told. I think it's fun to try to take something familiar and give it a new flavor. That was part of the inspiration behind THE MAN IN THE CINDER CLOUDS. I tried to take a familiar character (Kris Kringle) and show him in a different light.

  2. Although every story HAS been told before, nobody can tell YOUR story from that unique perspective - which is influenced by YOUR unique circumstances, world views, opinions, culture etc.
I'm visiting from the A to Z circuit!
    Nice to meet you!

  3. Good point! Similar stories, but not exactly the same.
